VP / Sr. Director Immunology

Longevity Biotech is looking to add a dynamic senior immunologist leader with a focus on neurological disorders to our growing team.  Your expertise in identifying and characterizing various cell types along with their secreted cytokines will be heavily utilized as we expand our internal capabilities to assay libraries of novel drug candidates.  A critical eye toward determining immune profiles from raw data is a key requirement. The insights from your work will be used in part to guide clinical trial designs and lead/backup candidate selection. You must be self-directed and can quickly contribute to our fast-paced culture and involve internal and external KoLs as needed. Leadership abilities to build and direct your team are imperative.

This role is a key member of the team where you will supervise other bench scientists while also conducting your own research. You will be responsible for performing surveys across in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo samples to ensure a complete product profile.  In addition, you will also interact with the senior leadership team.  Your work and thought leadership will contribute to the company’s objectives while working with cutting-edge technology to help improve human health outcomes.

This position is based in Philadelphia, PA where Longevity Biotech’s labs are located. This is a partial remote role.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 6+ years of industrial in vitro/in vivo immunology experience
  • Ph.D. in molecular biology or immunology with a focus on inflammation and/or immunomodulation
  • Expertise in the measurement and analysis of immunological assays: cell proliferation, cytokine production, FACS-based immunophenotyping, suppression assays
  • Clinical trial design and clinical data analysis experience
  • Experience conducting statistical analysis of datasets (large and small) with R/SPSS/Bioconductor
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong publication track record
  • Evidence of significant professional accomplishments
  • Assay validation experience preferred
